    Hospice is a special way of caring. The professional, compassionate staff at HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc. strives to provide quality hospice services and education to patients and families who are facing end of life issues, regardless of their ability to pay.

    HospiceCare is tailored to meet each family's needs on an individual and personal basis. Efficient, loving care is rendered by a medically directed team of:

Physicians
Registered Nurses
Certified Nursing Assistants
Licensed Practical Nurses
Social Workers
Counselors
Chaplains
Bereavement Specialists
Trained Volunteers

    Team members are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist patients and their loved ones.

    Hospice services are not limited to medical care. We provide to the patient when necessary:

Medical equipment, such as beds, oxygen, walkers, wheelchairs
Pain reducing medications
Psychosocial counseling
Spiritual Counseling
Companionship
    The family also is included in the services provided: respite care, psychosocial and spirtual counseling.

    The primary focus of hospice is to help the patient and the family to be comfortable. Education is also provided that will help the patient and family make decisions for their care. "Life is for living to its fullest." What can be done to help the patient and family during this time, will be addressed.
