How to Address Mental Health Issues Before and During the UPSC Civil Service Exam

UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2022: The Union Civil Service Commission, UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2022 is scheduled to take place on June 5th. The number of vacancies to be filled through the exam is expected to be around 861. All applicants can check the official UPSC website for all the details.

The questions that have always perplexed aspirants since the beginning of the UPSC-CSE are:

  • How to complete the syllabus before the exam!
  • That we cover crucial topics from the most appropriate sources!
  • How to sit with the best preparation!
  • Where did 24 hours go?

And seekers get overly anxious because:

  • Some are afraid to fail
  • Some simply lack self-confidence.
  • And if difficult questions came!
  • Will our series of tests help me?

Every time you try to find legitimate answers without a mentor, it all poses a threat to your sanity.

If you are a potential aspirant

Stop exploring multiple career options. And now identify the key areas of the CSE curriculum that can be separated in order of importance.

  • Then, establish a flexible and realistic routine that you can follow regularly with your heart.
  • Now select the minimum number of books and multiple readings of the same book. At the same time, remember to rest during your studies. Attend mentor and topper webinars to rectify if there is a mistake. It will help you eliminate our confusion and give you great self-confidence.

A significant amount of time is wasted each day, which adds up to significant amounts of time over a month. It’s not necessarily a waste of time, but if you want to achieve your goals, you have to give up some trivial things.

If you are a victim during UPSC CSE:

Do not reflect on the previous paper.

Even with many things pending, you still have a high chance of passing the UPSC exam. No one comes to this exam with the best preparation. It depends on how you put it on this paper.

If the hardest paper comes, it won’t just be for you, it will be a thunderclap for everyone. Success does not lie in the results but in the efforts. Being the best is not that important; doing your best is all that matters.

Take care of your health:

When preparing or sitting for the CSE, take good care of your health, because a healthy mind can only live in a healthy body. Eat nutritious food, get enough sleep, and exercise by taking a walk, practicing yoga, or playing your favorite sport.

Get into the habit of going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. Healthy people are less prone to mental illness and make better use of their time. Consider good health a prerequisite for good CST performance.

Finally, nervousness, on the eve of any examination, is a permanent habit of a sincere mind. It cannot be avoided. But staying focused on small improvements, small habits, and small changes will ultimately lead you to bigger things.
